We all heard the phrase it’s a dog-eat-dog world, but cat eat cat is a term hard to digest. Getaway Magazine interviewed Louise to get her insight on her recent experience where she witnessed the rare spectacle of predator versus predator.

On a trip to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park Louise sighted the the ultimate showdown of two predatory felines: a caracal and an African wildcat.

‘The caracal was laying in the grass with his catch for a few minutes. I then decided to wait it out and hopefully see what he caught. It was a big surprise when he got up and started walking in my direction with the African wildcat in his mouth.’
