Black-Chested Snake Eagle Pair, Rietvlei Nature Reserve.
Photo featured in Take Your Pic segment by Toast Coetzer. Louise and her husband came across the eagle nest early one morning while visiting the Rietvlei Nature Reserve near Pretoria, South Africa. She decided to stay and observe for a photo opportunity. Seven hours later, she snapped the perfect shot as the mating pair changed brooding swifts.
